International Ethnic Folklore Festival - 2018,  with a tag line "Let's Dance for World Peace" is hosting its Fourth edition from October 10-15, 2018 in Delhi-NCR, India.

International Ethnic Folklore Festival  is an initiative by Shrustii Multicultural Centre  a Non Profitable Organization as a unique project, one-of-a-kind in the world of folklore dance and music.  It is characterized by the unique format of the event, variety of folklore and performing features of dances,  from all corners of the Globe, openness to the new, combination of entertainment and high artistic level of participants’ performance, where the dance and cultures of the World UNITE  in the heart of India’s Capital New Delhi.

International Ethnic Folklore Festival started its first edition-2015, in the heart of India’s Capital & Union territory New Delhi, City of Djinns. IEFF-INDIA is the member of European Association of Folklore Festivals.

In contemporary times, we are losing the touch from our “cultural roots” and folklore culture in the process of modernization. The concept of the festival meets the actual world trends of folklore culture popularization. Particularly, it corresponds with the initiatives of UNESCO that has called the world community to active promotion of dialog between cultures and generations through folk art.

Project goals are creation of objective rating of folklore performers-improvisers, promotion of up-and-coming folklore performers and attraction of interest of national and foreign community to the Festival and its participants. The Festival is destined to answer for popularization of folklore culture and wide public recognition of performers talent.

IEFF is a creative collision of dance performances, traditional music, workshops and discussions. It is vibrant and exciting festival offering a wide range of expertise from world-class folklore artists to impromptu performances on Indian Stages, which portray the ethnic ancestral traditions with royal costumes forming a unique cultural diversity thus enhancing the portfolio of the Festival providing a fun day out for people of all ages and walks of life.

The Festival makes its authentic skill full and colorful presence with finest acts yearly during the July / August which connects audiences and artists from around the world, would also generate significant cultural, social and economic benefits to all countries participating in the festival by strengthening of mutual respect and tolerance & activation of creative contacts.

The Festival showcases 10 International Folklore Ensembles with 5 National Ensembles. The festival will be a highlight of the New Delhi’s Cultural diversity and it expects an exceptional line up which brings over 400 artists together with the massive crowd over 10,000 to 20,000 patrons by hitting the biggest grounds & Auditoriums of New Delhi and NCR Regions.

The Festival is providing a platform for outstanding artistic groups, to offer the audience a great diversity in countries and areas represented in the program and never forgetting to add some fun and unique identity to our cultural shows. We try to bring quality in depth, and we recognize the need to give our artists and audiences the best stages, in the best auditoriums, with the best sound and lighting possible.

Our Festival is committed to provide international forum to the talent of New Delhi   to all where art lovers would get an opportunity to explore different cultures under one roof and to enjoy the dances of various countries and provinces of India.

The Festival will arrange some activities for the attending groups as the excursions to some of the local Historical Places.  Preparing the Fun games and encourages groups to participate.

Our folklore festival in the New Delhi area, promises to feature over 40 hours of entertainment in one week of cultural events.

Our passion for folklore and tradition make our festival as a mobile museum of the most precious and most beautiful folklore heritage of the world. It has been representing history and identity of different persons and cultures. Aside from nourishing rich folklore, presents colorful outfits, dances and songs that reassembled the genuine world folklore culture’s emblem.


The aim of the festival is to preserve the cultural heritage and Sessions are encouraged, with local and visiting artistes getting together to compose and play a tune or to create a new Folklore dance forms, thus promoting cultural tourism among participating countries.

To provide a participatory rather than a consumer model for Intangible Cultural Heritage. The festival presents a tremendous colorful platform to mingle with different ethnic cultures of the world; it is a soulful opportunity to establish friendships with extremely talented creative folklore groups by knowing each other dancing together and supportive amusement which means celebrating mankind brotherhood thorough culture.

To encourage participation & joy of many people in the cultivation of cultural heritage,  develop respect and appreciation for cultures of different nations. The Festival will expose individuals to the workshops of Indian Theatre and Folklore as well as to other Guest folklore group’s workshops.

The festival promotes intercultural dialogue between the folk collectives from different countries as well as brings the younger generation up in the spirit of patriotism and tolerance to cultural traditions and customs of other ethnos.

The Festival will also provide the Folklore groups to share and to discuss some of their experiences/challenges they are facing and try to find solutions in a creative way of understanding of culture and to strengthen the Folklore culture Worldwide.

To be a significant contribution to the maintenance and enhancement of cultural identity, diversity through other similar events, workshops, conferences, seminars, etc.  and to act as a co-ordinating body for folk activities in a state where the festival takes place.


IEFF project contributing its support to the UNESCO theme of World peace and Harmony by creating a platform for different nations to come together under one roof, thereby promoting the intangible heritage through forms of expression such as dance & music, with which the mutual understanding and peace all over the world is developed.

Through IEFF, people from various parts of the world will be united in heart and in action by conducting their own culture and sharing the fun and enjoyment with other cultures. This organization serves as a bridge from one nation to another, from one man to another.


To promote India as an attractive, friendly & safe tourist destination in Asia, to introduce the State’s rich unique and elaborated cultural heritage, which affects the Country’s economic growth.

Festival Organizer :

The festival is organized by Shrustii Multicultural Centre, members of IOV, CID and IFEA, a Non Profitable organization registered under Section 25,  are the promoters of Indian Folk, Classical and Theatre Ensembles to various International stages (France, Poland, Finland, Netherland, Italy, Hungary, Russia, Belgium, Dubai, Egypt & Mexico) since 2005.

Shrustii represents itself as a royal museum of ethnic colorful heritage with incredible dances, songs with traditional musical instruments and also the dazzling colorful costumes which represent unity in diversity of Indian culture.

To promote community awareness of Indian cultural folk dances and to pass the folk traditions to further generations in order to preserve National cultures. Celebrates Indian cultural and heritage exchange and unite Indians in and around the world.

The promotion is strongly propagating the message of love & friendship. Our main motive is to insure a well-represented performance of International Standards.

IEFF have been obliged, committed and dedicated to encourage enhancement of music, culture, folk dance, song, stimulation of culture exchange internationally and forming viable forums for the aspiring folk artists to showcase their artistry, inspiration and talent.

A step to safeguard and celebrate unique and diversified folklore cultures of the world under one roof which are elapsing day by day with the urbanization of the Society.
