Admission to the Festival :

Folklore Ensembles interested to participate at the IEFF 2019 – INDIA,

Fifth Edition : July 10-16, 2019

Sixth Edition: NOVEMBER 06-12, 2019

                        must submit the application form. Contact the organizer for the application form at :  folkfestivalindia@gmail.com

Terms & Conditions :

•  Festival Organizer will select the best 10 amateur folklore groups with exceptional artistic level from 4 corners of the World.

• Participating groups should be amateur National Folklore performance groups accompanied with live musicians.

• Number of participants in the group should be 15- 40 members including dancers, mangers and musicians.

• Participants of the group members should be 15+. (Exceptions will be permitted)

• Group will be accompanied by one IEFF-host during the festival.

• Group has to get National Flag of their Country.

• Group has to get 4-5 Gifts to exchanges with officials of the Festivals during the opening and Closing Ceremony.

Arivals & Departures :

• The date of arrival for participating groups to New Delhi is 10th July 2019 / 06th Nov 2019. ( After 12:00 pm)

• The departure time from New Delhi shall be on 16th July , 2019 / 12th November, 2019 by 11:00 hours after breakfast.

• The participating groups will be escorted by a coach, organized by Shrustii Multicultural Centre, from Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi to the Hotel.

Travel Requirements :

• Each group should cover the expense of their international flight for the round-trip.

• Every member of the group, has to have Travel Insurance which should include your medical and accidental coverage during the period of the festival.

• Other expenses, such as beverages, laundry, room service, long distance calls etc. shall be borne by the individual of the group.

Performance Details :

• The Group should perform 4 different folk dances with 10,15, 20 minutes slots each with live music 2 times a day at provided venues. 

• Venues for performances will include open-air stages, theatres, halls, Auditoriums, the parade through the central street- The New Delhi,  and scenic spots without special stage facilities or lighting equipment.

• Groups should attend the rehearsal on time.

• Group should provide 3 workshops in the festival.

• Group should actively participate in the discussion forums.

• The group has to take part in all programs.

• During the festival period, the groups have no right to cancel any performance without any approval from the Festival Committee.

• National costume of their state can be stylized.

• One day will be completely free of any kinds of Stage performances.

Festival Rights :

• The festival reserves the right for Radio,TV and video-recording without paying any honorarium.

• The Festival organizing committee has the right to change the schedule of the program at any time during the festival.

• By applying you confirm that you accept all festival conditions. All detailed information will be supplied after the confirmation for participation.

• Any activity, either from any individual or any group that could harm the festival is not allowed.

• IEFF reserves the right to make its own decisions by consulting your organizing members at those unforeseen situations which are not mentioned in the Conditions of the festival.

Monuments with out Entry fee: India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Teen Murthi, Rajghat, Lotus Temple, Iskon Temple (Famous Vaishnava temple with deities of Sri Radha Krishna), Jama Masjid (Principal Mosque of Old Delhi), Birla Mandir-Lakshmi Narayan Temple (Hindu Temple), Cathedral Church of Redemption (Viceroy Church),  Gandhi Smriti, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, Chattarpur Temple, Shri Digambar Jain Lal Mandir (Oldest and best-known Jain temple), Nizamuddin Dargah, Ferozeshah Kotla Stadium & Gandhi National Museum.

Monuments with Entry Fee:

Humayun's Tomb: Entry fee 500 Rs

Red fort : Entry fee 500 Rs

Qutab Minar: Entry fee 500 Rs

Jantar Mantar: Entry Fee 200 Rs

Purana Qila: Entry Fee 200 Rs

National Museum : Entry fee 150 Rs

National Rail Museum : Entry fee 20Rs

                                 (only two monuments will be witnessed as per the time in a day, as these monuments take much time to witness)

 NOTE: Only 7-10 Tourism spots can be covered in a day for Delhi Tour.

The participant has to follow the dress code while taking entry in to some of the sacred temples. (Proper dressing with head cover).

(Delhi Monuments remain closed for all visitors on Monday).

Composite Ticket: 1000Rs, For Students will ID Card : 200 Rs

Elephant ride: 1100Rs for 2 Persons  , Camel Ride: 100Rs for one person.
